The struggle of slugging into work is part of a normal day for many county residents, but now that may get a bit easier with the new Sluglines mobile application.
While slugging is a free way to take advantage of the HOV lanes into Washington, D.C., it has its challenges when it comes to locating drivers willing to take slug commuters, and coordinating your commute.
According to a release, the Sluglines mobile application will allow commuters to find the real-time status of area sluglines, and navigate to locations where cars are waiting for slug commuters. The app can be used by riders and drivers, and is an easier way to connect, so that you can hit the road, according to a release.
