Are you interested in learning more about slavery in the 1700s?
Historic Dumfries Virginia and the the Weems-Botts Museum are hosting “An Artful Fellow”: Slavery in Dumfries in the 18th Century.
The virtual presentation starts at 10:30 a.m. on August 20.
It will cover Dumfries historic sites, Virginia laws, and community members.
Tickets for the program are available on eventbrite. Attendees pay what they’d like for the tickets.
