The National Weather Service (NWS) is calling for severe thunderstorms in our area this afternoon and evening.
According to NWS, a Hazardous Weather Outlook has been called for the area.
“The main threat is damaging wind gusts, though hail is also possible. Thunderstorms may also produce gusty winds over the waters,” stated NWS.
There could also be heavy rainfall and instances of flash flooding.
