If you’re headed south tonight on I-95, be ready.
According to the Virginia Department of Transportation (VDOT), I-95 southbound in Stafford County just north of Garrisonville Road will be reduced to only one lane, starting at 8 p.m., in order for a crew to remove an overturned tractor trailer.
“Southbound lane closures are estimated to be in place for approximately one hour to remove the tractor trailer from the interstate shoulder at mile marker 145,” stated a release.
VDOT stated that Virginia State Police will be providing traffic control at the scene, and drivers are being encouraged to use Route 1.
