Those who have autism or special needs can learn more about K9s.
At 10 a.m. on Saturday, a sensory friendly viewing of “Superpower Dogs” will be shown at the National Museum of the Marine Corps, 18900 Jefferson Davis Highway in Triangle.
“Superpower Dogs” is a movie about six K9s who provide emotional support, conduct rescues and assist with crimes. It’s playing at the Medal of Honor Theater until September 30.
The Marine Corps Heritage Foundation is hosting the sensory friendly showing, which will have a lower volume. Visitors can talk quietly and move.
Theaters sometimes use this type of screening to accommodate those who have autism or special needs.
Another sensory friendly showing of “Superpower Dogs” will be held at 10 a.m. on September 28.
