Are you ready for the 2017-2018 school year?
The school start dates for the coming school year have already been posted, and the tax-free weekend to buy school supplies is right around the corner.
Prince William County Schools will start up on August 28, as will Manassas City Public Schools. Manassas Park Public Schools will open up on August 14.
August 4 to August 6 is tax-free weekend, where “school supplies selling for $20 or less per item and articles of clothing, including footwear, selling for $100 or less per item will be exempt from sales tax,” stated a release.
