College and university-bound students have a chance to earn a scholarship.
The Woodbridge chapter of the State Burner’s Motorcycle Club is accepting applications.
Founded in 1946, the club serves the community by partnering with organizations and assisting with events.
It’s partnering with Unigo to offer the scholarship.
Due December 19, the applications may be submitted on the motorcycle club’s website.
The scholarship will be awarded to a senior who plans to attend a Historically Black College or University (HBCU).
In addition to receiving $1,000, the selected student will be invited to the 20th Black History Month Gala that’s being held in Alexandria in February 2020.
