According to a release, the coalition intends to demand that Amazon pay for the 230-kilovolt transmission line project through the area.
“The utility recently announced that it will seek a new route for the power line along Interstate 66 instead of through the historic community, but opponents say they are not letting down their guard and are moving forward with the protest,” stated a release.
The coalition protested last month in front of a Dominion facility in Herndon.
Tomorrow’s protest will take place from 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. outside of the Amazon data center facility at 6530 Trading Square.
