Work reunions are being delayed a bit longer for some Virginians.
Governor Ralph Northam has announced that certain businesses must remain closed until May 8.
At a press conference on Wednesday, Northam said he’s extending Executive Order 53 for two more weeks.
The order, which directed recreation and entertainment services and personal care services to close, was issued on March 24. The original expiration date was scheduled for next week.
Grocery stores, pharmacies, and other essential businesses can remain open.
Restaurants may continue to operate through carry out, curbside and delivery options.
Here is a list of small businesses in Prince William County that are open.
The stay at home order is still in effect until June 10.
