The Dale City Volunteer Fire Department (DCVFD) hosted their Open House last week to celebrate 50 years of serving the community.
The event was a success, and volunteers from Ambulance 13, Engine 10, Engine 20, and Assistant Chief Jim Jones came out to show the community the equipment and the work they do to save lives.
Participants were given a tour of the station, got to check out the apparatus, and even try on firefighter equipment.
