During the holidays, members of the public decorate their homes with trees and greenery. Once Christmas has passed, some may be wondering what to do with it.
Trees are picked up by collectors on yard waste collection day during the first couple of weeks in January.
Before disposing of these items, residents should take off ornaments, tinsel and other decorations.
Recycling Christmas trees and greenery is also an option offered at a few sites.
