The City of Manassas is helping its residents get rid of unwanted items.
RecycleFest has been scheduled for November 2.
Between 8 a.m. and Noon, household hazardous waste — such as fertilizer, gasoline and antifreeze — as well as game consoles and TVs can be brought to the Manassas Transfer Station, 8305 Quarry Road.
The fifth annual program is also offering document shredding, according to a release from the City of Manassas. RecycleFest attendees may drop off up to four boxes of paper, according to a release from the City of Manassas.
Savers, a thrift store, will be accepting clothing and items. Some of the sales will be used to support the City of Manassas Animal Adoption Center.
