UPDATE: The due date for the first half of the real estate taxes has been pushed back to October 15.
It’s tax time for county residents.
The first half of the 2020 real estate taxes are due on July 15, according to a release from Prince William County.
Payments can be submitted through the Taxpayer Portal or over the phone at 1-888-272-9829, jurisdiction code 1036.
Prince William County is also accepting payments by mail. Mailed payments should be sent to PO BOX 1600, Merrifield, VA 22116 and postparmed by July 15.
The public may also pay their real estate taxes between 8 a.m. and 4 p.m. at the Sudley North Government Center, 7987 Ashton Avenue in Manassas, or place it in the drop box outside of the McCoart Administration Building, 1 County Complex Court in Woodbridge.
Those planning to pay in person should practice social distancing and wear a face mask, unless they have a health condition that prevents them from wearing one.
County residents who didn’t get a tax bill may reach out to the Taxpayer Services Office by emailing TaxpayerServices@pwcgov.org or calling (703) 792-6710 Monday through Friday, from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Those who received a bill from the mortgage company should contact the company.
