An exhibition of hard work, artistry, and philanthropy is coming soon to Woodbridge.
Cabin Branch Quilters will host its 2022 Quilt Show from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. on April 2 and 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on April 3. For this event, the organization has chosen a new, large venue. Attendees will visit the Lake Ridge Dance Center, 2850 Garber Way, #4003, in Woodbridge.
Quilts will be on display, and the program will feature a raffle quilt. Proceeds for the raffle quilt will go to the HANGRY Project, a food market and street kitchen that is run by The House Student Leadership Center. The House, Inc. provides resources to encourage youth leadership and a proper track for education.
Admission is $8, but those who are under 12 years old may enter for free.
According to Cabin Branch Quilters’ Facebook page, the guild was formed in 1989, dedicated to bringing a new perspective for quilting in Prince William County, Virginia. The over 200-member organization welcomes quilters of all skill levels and encourages them all to learn from each other. Members meet at 7:30 p.m. on the fourth Monday of each month at the Lake Ridge Baptist Church, 12450 Clipper Drive in Lake Ridge.
