Transportation officials are considering a few projects for the county’s western part.
Drivers and pedestrians will be able to voice their thoughts on them at a public information meeting.
Organized by the Virginia Department of Transportation (VDOT), the discussion will be held at Glenkirk Elementary School, 8584 Sedge Wren Drive in Gainesville.
Staff members are leading the meeting from 6:30 and 8:30 p.m. on May 23, according to a release from VDOT.
Participants will talk about safety projects officials are considering adding from Vint Hill Road to Linton Hall Road on Rollins Ford Road.
The ideas include roundabouts and more pedestrian signs at crosswalks.
Those unable to attend can email feedback to meetingcomments@vdot.virginia.gov, or mail it to Mr. Rahul Trivedi, P.E., Virginia Department of Transportation, 4975 Alliance Drive, Fairfax, VA 22030.
