Do you want to talk about how to get Woodbridge moving? Then get to the free Transportation Town Hall on October 20.
According to a release, Supervisor Frank Principi is hosting the discussion from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. at the Homewood Suites at 2650 Neabsco Common Place.
“Traffic congestion in this region has been ranked worst in the country, negatively impacting the environment, and costing area families and businesses time, money and productivity. Come hear about the state of our transportation system and the need to link land use with transportation policies,” stated a release.
There will be special guests from the Prince William County Department of Planning, the Prince William County Department of Transportation, the Potomac Rappahannock Transportation Commission, and the Virginia Department of Transportation, according to a release.
During the event, participants should plan to explore the following questions:
What is the relationship between land use policy decisions and traffic congestion?
Are we ready for Metrorail? Expanded bus and rail service? Bus rapid transit? Fast ferry?
How you can help the county make the right policy and budget choices?
This event is part of a three-part Town Hall series in Woodbridge, according to a release.
