Check out some neat artwork from Prince William high schoolers at the Water Art Invitational.
Hosted by the Prince William County Service Authority (PWCSA), the event will be held on March 9 at 7 p.m. at 4 County Complex Court in Woodbridge, according to a release.
“The WAI is an annual art contest hosted by the Prince William County Service Authority that is open to all high school students enrolled in public, private and homeschools located in Prince William County,” stated a release.
The theme for this year’s competition is “Water is Precious and Essential to Life.”
The students must all submit entries related to safe, reliable drinking water. According to a release, more than 179 students submitted entries in the form of paintings, drawings, computer graphics, and photography – doubling the amount of participation from last year.
PWCSA will be awarding more than $6,000 to individuals with wining entries, stated a release.
