Try out the food students will be eating in Prince William schools.
According to a release, the Prince William County School Food and Nutrition Services Staff are hosting their 27th annual Food Show on March 9 at Colgan High School.
Two tastings will be held – one from 6 p.m. to 7 p.m. and one from 7 p.m. to 8 p.m.
During the show, individuals will be able to taste various food items that are being considered for school lunches, and provide feedback on the samples.
“The information gathered at the show will be used to develop menus and purchasing specifications for the food products that will be served in Prince William County Public Schools during the 2017-18 school year,” stated a release.
The staff is still looking for tasters for the free event.
