Recycling and changes that are occurring locally will be highlighted at an upcoming program.
Prince William Recycles Day has been slated for October 12, according to a release from the Prince William County Solid Waste Division.
It’s occurring at the Prince William County Landfill, 14811 Dumfries Road in Manassas, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
Activities, free food, tours of the landfill, and stories told by The Chesapeake Mermaid are among its features.
Games, music and truck displays are being offered, as well.
