The Prince William Association of Realtors (PWAR) and the Women’s Council of Realtors’ Northern Virginia Metro Chapter are running a clothing drive to help women and children.
According to a release, the clothing drive is being done to benefit Women Giving Back, a Northern Virginia organization that helps “women & children in crisis by distributing clothing at no cost.”
Women Giving Back was started in 2007 by a group of professional women, and assists around 200 women each month – giving more than 300,000 items of clothing to those in need since the organization started, according to their website.
Individuals with gently used clothing items for women and children are asked to drop off their donations at PWAR’s office at 4545 Daisy Reid Avenue Suite 150 in Woodbridge. Drop off hours are Monday through Friday, 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., according to a release.
“Ladies accessories, shoes, purses, scarves, jewelry and new toiletries/cosmetics are also accepted,” stated a release.
