The Prince William County Police Department’s Crime Prevention Unit is hosting a Neighborhood Watch training on June 19.
The hour-long training will begin at 7 p.m. and is being held in the Locust Shade conference room at the Ferlazzo Building at 15941 Donald Curtis Drive in Woodbridge.
“If you are looking for a refresher training for your Watch members, or if you are a new coordinator taking over an existing Watch, this training is for you and members of your Watch,” stated a release.
The event is free, but people are asked to RSVP by calling 703-792-7270 or emailing mwhaley@pwcgov.org.
“Topics covered include crime reporting, emergency preparedness, Watch patrolling, active violence, and a Q&A session,” stated a release.
