Two Prince William County residents have become Virginia Lottery winners.
Mark Meye of Dumfries and Bishowdeep Sijapati from Woodbridge recently won six figures.
During his lunch break, Meye bought a Print ‘n Play Rolling Jackpot ticket at Sheetz, 4021 Prince William Parkway in Woodbridge.
The game starts with a $50,000 jackpot, according to a release from the Virginia Lottery. As tickets are purchased, the jackpot grows until a player wins.
There is a 1 in 240,000 chance of getting the top prize.
Meye won $107,528. The administrator plans to put it in savings.
Sijapati picked up his winning ticket at Exxon at the Glen, 4255 Seeton Square in Woodbridge.
The Uber driver was getting gas on January 31 and decided to buy a Mega Money ticket.
He won $500,000, which was the top prize.
Two top prizes have yet to be claimed.
Mega Money players have a 1 in 489,600 chance of winning $500,000, and there’s a 1 in 3.39 possibility of receiving any prize.
