Neighborhood leaders can sometimes bear a lot of responsibility in their communities. They might be called to offer advice in disputes. They might need to be conversant on local rules, regulations and ordinances, or at least know who to call when the need arises. They might need to know a thing or two about landscaping.
On Friday, Oct. 23, Prince William County’s Neighborhood Services will hold its annual Homeowner and Condominium Association Leadership Seminar to give residents the chance to hear from experts on how to handle situations that might arise in their communities.
“The seminar is a great opportunity for neighborhood residents and community groups to come together to network and share ideas about solving issues that impact their neighborhood,” said Cathy Holtzlander, the neighborhood services coordinator for the Prince William County Department of Public Works.
