The Prince William Chamber of Commerce held its annual Chairman’s Ball last week at the Heritage Hunt Golf & Country Club in Gainesville.
Each year, the Chairman’s Ball is held as the “last hurrah” of the season for Chamber of Commerce events, and is a way to honor the outgoing Chamber Chair and welcome in the incoming one.
“I do know that in my heart, and my gut, that we all – everyone in this room – truly cares about this Chamber and its success. We care strongly about the success of our businesses, small – a one man show – all the way up to those large businesses, and more importantly, I think we all in this room love and care about our community,” said Bartholomew.
Outgoing Chamber Chair C.C. Bartholomew discussed the Chamber’s accomplishments over the past year, and “passed the torch” to incoming Chair Jim Elliot.

“C.C. you’ve done an answer job, enthusiasm, and your dedication to the Chamber have been phenomenal, and Jim, you’ve got a tough road here,” said Bill White.
Elliot spoke about Bartholomew’s time as Chair, and surprised her with a gift basket with an oversized gavel, wine, and gift certificates to Prince William golf courses.
