This week the Prince William Chamber of Commerce is hosting a panel discussion at Prince William County’s Innovation Park in Manassas.
Innovation will be discussed at the event, which will be held on February 16 from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.
The panel discussion is the second in a series on economic development and will “focus on organizations doing cutting edge work in Prince William County’s Innovation Park,” according to a release.
Innovation Park is a 1,500 acre corporate research park anchored by George Mason University’s (GMU) Manassas campus. The park was built to bring jobs, innovations, and economic development opportunity to the area.
“Over the past several years it has seen construction of more than 2.1 million square feet, including the headquarters of ATCC, the state-of-the art COPT DC-6 data center, and the Level-3 GMU/NIH Biomedical Research Laboratory,” stated a release.
Among the panelists will be Prince William County’s Economic Development Department Executive Director Jeff Kaczmarek, The Villago Group’s Director of Operations Meredith Arnest, GMU’s Vice President for Research Dr. Debra Crawford, COPT Data Center Solutions General Manager Jeff Ivey, and ATCC Federal Solutions Technical Director Dr. Ted Mullins.
