According to a release, 73 nominations were received and 52 member businesses were recognized during the nomination process.
The winners of the awards will be announced at the Prince William Chamber’s Business Awards ceremony on February 28 at the Hylton Performing Arts Center in Manassas.
Tickets for the awards dinner are $75 per person, $90 for non-members.
The awards are sponsored by Northern Virginia Community College. James MacGregor, Publisher of the Washington Business Journal will serve as Master of Ceremonies.
This year will be the second year that the Charles J. Colgan Visionary Award, sponsored by Vanderpool, Frostick & Nishanian, PC will begiven out. Named for Virginia’s beloved longest-serving statesman, the award honors an individual who has demonstrated extraordinary leadership, including but not limited to their own organization. Like Senator Colgan, the individual should be known as an innovator, a great partner, a visionary and an advocate for their community and beyond.
