Help the Boys & Girls Clubs of Prince William County raise $10,000 to fund their programs.
The organization is hosting a ‘10K in an Hour and a Half’ networking fundraiser on February 2.
The event will be held from 6:30 p.m. to 8 p.m. at the Hilton Garden Inn at 2500 Neabsco Common Place in Woodbridge.
“Typically when you start of the New Year, you start off with three resolutions in mind; the first being to eat healthy, the second being to raise a little money and expand your network, and the third being to support the communities where you live, work, and play,” said Boys & Girls Club Board Vice President Eric Williams, and this event is a way to combine those resolutions.
The goal of the event is to bring 100 people with 100 business cards each, as well as a $100 check per person, to raise the $10,000 for the organization.
Sponsors include the Hilton Garden Inn, Steve’s Auto Repair, and What’s Up Prince William.
