The Prince William County Animal Shelter is hosting an adoption event for Father’s Day weekend.
According to a release, the shelter will be hosting the “Paws4Pops” adoption event this weekend on-site at 14807 Bristow Road in Manassas and at the Humane Society’s Pet Adopt Shop at 17983 Dumfries Shopping Plaza in Dumfries.
The sites will be open Saturday from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. and Sunday from 12 p.m. to 4 p.m.
During the event, fees to adopt a dog will be dropped to $25 and there will be no fee to adopt a cat.
“If you are still searching for the perfect gift, why not consider a furry, new best friend for the fathers in your life? Your gift will also save the life of a Shelter pet,” stated a release.
