Pieces designed by local artists have made The Hall at Manassas City Hall their temporary home.
The Best of the Region Art Show is being displayed through April 6, according to a release.
P-ART-ners is presenting the show, which features portrait, landscape and still life pieces created with various medium, including oil, acrylic and colored pencil.
“Flowing Music in Megapolis” by Svetlana Monachova of Alexandria was named the first place winner.
“Unassumed Beauty,” created by Mary Reilly of Creative Brush Studios, received second place.
Roza Sharifi’s piece “Converse” placed third.
“Amarylis and Apples” by Chong Teasley, “Plateau” by Walter Arista, and “Peggy’s Cove Boat Dock” by Dennis Dubois received honorable mentions.
The artwork is available for public viewing 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday at 9027 Center Street.
The Hall at City Hall exhibits rotate each month.
