Sugary treats will find their place in creative displays next month.
The sixth annual Peep Show is coming up on April 20.
Held from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m., the Occoquan event will feature a visit from the Easter Bunny, a photo booth, and the second annual Occoquan Community Peep Contest.
Contest participants will create dioramas made up of marshmallow Easter Peeps, according to a release. There are four categories: Individual, Family/Team, Youth and Kids.
Displays and entry forms should be brought to Town Hall between 9 a.m. and 4 p.m. April 15 through April 18.
Peep show attendees may judge and vote on them during the event.
The winner, which will be announced at Noon on April 20, will receive $25 they can use at an Occoquan business.
Those interested in participating in the contest can register by emailing Events and Community Development Director Julie Little at jlittle@occoquanva.gov.
Park for the Peep Show is available on the street or parking lot. A free shuttle bus will transport community members from Route 123 Commuter lot to 305 Mill Street between 10:30 a.m. and 4:30 p.m.
Patriot Scuba is sponsoring the shuttle, and donations to Patriots for Disabled Divers are being accepted.
