Transporting adoptable pets is becoming easier for the Prince William Humane Society (PWHS).
The non-profit has gained a new “Paw Bus” that volunteers and staff may use to bring animals to shelters, events, and vet appointments.
Elite Sponsors of the van are Companion Real Estate in Ashburn, Minnieville Animal Hospital in Dale City, Off-Leash K-9 Training in Woodbridge, and 2 Silos Brewing at Farm Brew Live in Manassas, according to a release from PWHS.
Illusions Wraps in Fredericksburg, Dave’s Dogs in Woodbridge and HomeTowne Auto Repair & Tire in Woodbridge helped, as well.
“Part of our commitment to the community is to help great organizations like the Prince William Humane Society … “It takes many organizations, many people to help something great like this come together,” ST Billingsley from HomeTowne Auto Repair & Tire told What’s Up Prince William.
Members of the public will be able to check out the Paw Bus and meet adoptable pets at the Paws-N-Pints from Noon to 4 p.m. on Sunday.
Held at 2 Silos Brewing Company/Farm Brew, the program will also feature beer and wine tastings, a silent auction, vendors, raffle and music.
Advanced tickets cost $45 and can be purchased on the PWHS website or at the Adopt Shop, 17983 Dumfries Shopping Plaza in Dumfries. Attendees may also buy them at the door for $50.
