Logmill Road between Route 234 and Shelter Lane near Catharpin will be closed to through traffic next week.
According to the Virginia Department of Transportation (VDOT), construction work will take place from 7 a.m. October 30 to 3:30 p.m. on November 3.
Work is being done to replace the stormwater pipe, which was postponed during the summer.
“Residents within the closure area, emergency vehicles and school buses will have access to the closed portion of Logmill Road, but will not be able to go beyond the point of pipe replacement in either direction,” stated a release.
Traffic will be detoured via Route 234, stated VDOT.
