Parkside Middle School in Manassas’ own James Bricker was named this year’s “Best Teacher”.
Bricker, who works as the school’s athletic coordinator and physical education teacher, was given the distinction as part of InsideNOVA’s annual “Best of Prince William” contest, where readers vote on their favorites.
“The popular coach led the school’s boys track team to become 2017 District Champions. Bricker also coaches football and assists with wrestling,” stated a release.

Bricker is an active member of the Parkside Leadership Team, says Principal Mary Jane Boynton.
