Osbourn Park High School music teacher and marching band director Jeffery Kuchan was named New Educator of the Year by Apple Federal Credit Union.
Kuchan was surprised with the award at the school’s pep rally on October 6.
“He is described by colleagues as the teacher who makes time to work with and reach out to every student he possibly can, including helping students with special abilities find a way to play and make music. He is known for his dedication and enthusiasm,” stated a release.
