Starting tonight at 9 p.m., the Virginia Department of Transportation (VDOT) will be closing down one lane going southbound on I-95.
According to a release, a VDOT crew will be making deck repairs on the I-95 bridge over Route 17, near Exit 133.
Drivers should expect a single lane to be closed for the work zone.
“In addition, the I-95 southbound on-ramp from Route 17 northbound will be closed in connection with the I-95 bridge deck repairs. Motorists should use Route 17 southbound to access the on-ramp to I-95 southbound,” stated a release.
The work is expected to take place until 2 a.m. on Friday morning, stated a release.
