The Old Centreville Road bridge over Bull Run will have intermittent closures, starting tonight and going through April 6.
According to the Virginia Department of Transportation (VDOT), the closures will potentially last up to 30 minutes and occur between midnight and 4 a.m.
The closures are being done as part of the “rehabilitation project’s beam removal gantry system can be moved to a different part of the bridge,” stated VDOT.
In addition to the closures, the current alternate one way with traffic signals will be occurring, stated VDOT.
The bridge project is set for completion this fall.
