Some elected officials will soon begin new positions.
A swearing-in ceremony is taking place on January 6.
It will occur in Merchant Hall at the Hylton Performing Arts Center, 10960 George Mason Circle in Manassas, according to a release from Prince William County..
Those who have been appointed to the Board of County Supervisors (BOCS), the elected Commonwealth’s Attorney, and the elected Sheriff are participating.
Beginning at 6:30 p.m., the ceremony will be followed by a reception.
Members of the community may attend the event.
