More about Bottle Stop, from a release:
Located in the Historic river town of Occoquan, the restaurant/wine bar offers diners a diverse selection of small plates, flat bread pizzas, sliders, seasonal entrees, and cheese & charcuterie boards. Owners Emil and Kim Wigode, in consultation with three in-house sommeliers, select a constantly changing list of small production artisan wines, craft beers and whiskeys to pair with menu items or simply enjoy by the glass or bottle. Every visit is a new culinary and wine adventure.
“We’re honored to have been recognized by one of the premier international wine publications for our wine program. Our team has worked tirelessly to develop a diverse, interesting, and approachable wine list that is unique to our area. Wine Spectator’s recognition solidifies our place among the best restaurants and wine bars throughout the DMV despite operating outside the Beltway,” stated Bottle Stop owners Emil and Kim Wigode in a release.
