
Occoquan’s top wine destination – the Bottle Stop Wine Bar – has announced a new head chef.
The head chef, Brandon Williams, spent the past 4 years at acclaimed Brabo Restaurant in Old Town Alexandria most recently as sous chef.
“We’re thrilled to have Chef Williams join the team and enhance our customer’s culinary experience. His experience and background will bring exciting new menu creations and continue the high quality of food offered to our diners,” said Bottle Stop owners Emil and Kim Wigode.
Chef Williams has already begun making from scratch dough for Bottle Stop’s popular artisan pizzas and soon will offer different “Chef’s Full Plate” specials each week to compliment the tapas-style menu.
Bottle Stop will also host several Prix Fixe dinners in the near future with menus developed and executed by Chef Williams including New Year’s Eve in Italy, Steele Wine Dinner (January 14) and Mauritson Winemaker Dinner (February 16).
