On September 16, Occoquan VFW Post 7916 will be hosting a ceremony to commemorate Prisoner of War and Missing in Action (POW/MIA) Recognition Day.
According to a release, the ceremony will take place at 6:30 p.m. at River Mill Park in Occoquan.
During the ceremony, Occoquan Mayor Liz Quist and VFW Post 7916 Commander and Retired Colonel Charles Wilson will speak.
The Hylton High School Air Force JROTC will be performing a Table of Honor Ceremony to honor all POW/MIA individuals, according to a release.
