Occoquan’s newest addition, Third Base pizza & frozen custard, is now open.
The restaurant opened today at 202 Commerce Street, and is also home to a bed & breakfast at the same site.
According to Third Base’s Facebook page, the restaurant is named for her father, a Prince William-area restauranteur who was known for Bar J’s.
“This is the name of my father’s first restaurant, so we wanted to bring it back for old times sake,” stated owner Kathy Anderson online.
The facility was formerly a coffee shop, and the inside has been fully renovated to include the three bedroom Airbnb site.
