The Good News Community Kitchen needs your help to make holiday wishes come true for many children in Prince William.
According to a release, the organization is collecting new toys and gifts, which will be given to children in foster care and adoption agencies for the Christmas holiday.
Good News Community Kitchen is a new non-profit based in Occoquan, that provides several services including a food pantry, hygiene bags for the homeless, and mentorship for individuals re-entering the workforce.
“Our goal is to provide as many gifts to the beautiful children awaiting the greatest gift of all…family. We are also collecting new journals to provide to the children to encourage the idea of journaling,” stated a release.
The donations must be received by 4 p.m. on December 14, to make sure there is enough time for wrapping and distribution.
