A free event is bringing homemade items and entertainment to a local town.
The Fall Occoquan Arts and Crafts Show is slated for September 28 and September 29. It will occur from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. and from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., respectively.
In addition to crafts, the 50th annual program is featuring performances and food trucks.
A beer garden that offers craft brews from Water’s End Brewery will be set up at River Mill Park, according to a release from the Town of Occoquan.
Children can enjoy an array of activities, including an obstacle course and face painting.
Attendees may park at the I-95 Commuter Lot; Lake Ridge Commuter Lot; Route 123 Commuter Lot; and Workhouse Arts Center, 9518 Workhouse Way in Lorton.
A shuttle service, which costs $5 for individuals 12 and older, will run from the lots to the event.
Those interested in visiting the beer garden can park at the Lake Ridge Commuter Lot and take the “Beer Garden Express.”
Handicap parking is located in the town.
