It appears the snow we expected last night and this morning has shifted into the weekend.
According to the National Weather Service (NWS), the area is under a Hazardous Weather Outlook, and snow is expected in Northern Virginia late tonight around 3 a.m. and part of tomorrow.
Less than one inch of snow accumulation is expected, according to NWS.
