Want to learn from some of the best in writing? Then head to the 2nd annual Writing Conference, hosted by Northern Virginia Community College (NOVA) on April 22.
The free event will be held from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Colgan Theater at 6901 Sudley Road in Manassas, according to a release.
During the conference there will be three sessions that participants can attend that include speakers that are writing professionals, poets, and publishers, stated a release.

Dr. Robert Scott, Poet Laureate of Prince William County and Osbourn Park HS English Teacher, “Writing Poetry”
Dackeyia Q. Sterling, CEO/Publisher, Entertainment Power Players,
“Publishing and marketing techniques and how to write what publishers want”
Lunch will be provided for free to all participants, according to a release.
