Families looking to embark on some adventures can still have a vacation this summer.
Northern Virginia 4-H Center opened to the public.
Located in Front Royal, the center provides year-round programs for children and families in 19 counties, including Prince William County. The events and camps it holds were canceled.
Visitors may camp in tents or rent rooms that offer twin-size bunk beds, air conditioning, and a restroom.
On the property itself, there is basketball, disc golf, tennis and fishing. Hiking options are also accessible along the Appalachian Trail.
Fishing and sporting equipment, such as basketballs, tennis rackets and tennis balls, and frisbees, must be brought.
A junior Olympic size pool is open every day. It costs $5 per person to enter, and families need to stay 10 feet apart.
The Northern Virginia 4-H Center offers large picnic shelters, as well.
Community members can also check out attractions that are close by, including Luray Caverns, Shenandoah National Park, Skyline Drive, and five golf courses.
It costs $100 per room each night. A boxed, continental breakfast is included.
