As 2018 quickly comes to an end, a Northern Virginia non-profit is setting goals for the future.
Citizens have an opportunity to help the Front Royal-based organization meet them.
The Northern Virginia 4-H Center is seeking donations.
Throughout the year, the center offers programs for children and families in 19 localities, including Prince William County.
Since 1981, it has helped teach campers, students, educators and community organizations about leadership and service.
“This is one of the rare public places left where character building counts, positive learning is the priority, and outdoor education matters — a place worthy of investment and continued service to the community,” a release stated.
Proceeds collected through the fundraiser will be used to renovate older facilities, support programs and events, and help the center serve 2,500 campers.
Donations can be made through the center’s website or Facebook page.
Individuals may also mail financial gifts to: 600 4-H Center Drive, Front Royal, VA 22630.
