A North Woodbridge road project has received the OK from county officials.
The North Woodbridge Mobility Improvements Project’s final plan was approved by the Board of County Supervisors (BOCS).
Annapolis Way will be connected through the road work, a .28-mile project that’s expected to cost $8 million. The Northern Virginia Transportation Authority (NVTA) is funding it, according to a release from Prince William County.
Officials anticipate the right of way acquisition and utility stage to take place between fall 2022 and early spring 2023. Construction, which is being overseen by the Prince William County Department of Transportation, will follow. It’s expected to wrap up in winter 2024.
Part of the North Woodbridge Small Area Plan, the Annapolis Way project seeks to increase safety and better North Woodbridge transportation.
