Pets are getting their fill this Thanksgiving.
The Prince William Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (SPCA) and Action in Community Through Service (ACTS) are collecting food and treats for cats and dogs through November 9.
Donations to the Pet Food Drive will be given to those in need through ACTS’ Operation Give Thanks program, which was previously known as Operation Turkey, according to submitted post from the Prince William SPCA.
This will allow pets to receive a treat and prevent them from consuming food they shouldn’t.
Community members may drop off unopened and unexpired pet food and treats to locations in Lake Ridge and Woodbridge.
