NOVEC HELPS, Northern Virginia Electric Cooperative’s (NOVEC) non-profit arm, is accepting donations for the less fortunate.
The organization will collect unwrapped toys and gifts between 8:15 a.m. to 5 p.m., Monday through Friday, until December 6.
They will be donated to Toys for Tots and local homeless shelters, according to a release from NOVEC.
“Please remember to donate something for teens, as well as tots,” NOVEC Board of Directors Vice Chairman Jim Chesley said in a release.
Dominion Cruisers, NOVEC HELPS, the Clifton Lions Club, and Chesley are partnering together for the collection.
Board games, backpacks, books, winter hats and gloves are a few gift ideas Chesley recommended.
Donations may be brought to:
- 10323 Lomond Drive in Manassas
- 14500 Minnieville Road in Woodbridge
